'Baldry and Brinkhurst last exhibited together 42 years ago at the Minories in Colchester, curated by the highly respected Jeremy Theophilus. This new exhibition brings their practices into dialogue once again, revealing both divergence and continuity over time. Brinkhurst’s work has shifted significantly from the concerns that shaped her earlier practice, while Baldry’s retains an echo of the ephemerality that marked his beginnings. Together, their works trace the evolution of two distinct artistic journeys, now reunited in conversation after more than four decades.'
