The residency involved 16 artists creating art over a week period from the 23-29 Jan 2016 at Letheringham Lodge, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Students at University Campus Suffolk studying BA (Hons) Fine Art have completed a residency at a medieval hunting lodge in the Suffolk countryside as part of their studies. ‘Landscape & Light’ gave students the opportunity to create predominantly videos, in response to the landscape and buildings.
More information about the work and a fuller description of the residency can be found here. www.landscapeandlight.org
Week long residency with BA and MA Fine Art students from UCS in collaboration with Vilnius Academy of Fine Art and Vytutas Magnus University at the Nida Artists Colony studios situated on a 500 metre wide and 50 kilometre long sand dune on the Russian border in Lithuania. The week was spent working in groups to make video work in response to 'Baltic Science'. It was only at the end of the week that we discovered that the meaning of the project had been lost in translation and was intended to be 'Baltic Signs'!
Hugely successful residency with BA Fine Art students from UCS ending with 'Experimental Village' exhibition at the Cyprus College of Art in Lempa, Cyprus.
